This historic thoroughfare, long celebrated as a cultural crossroads between Japan and America since the post-war era, retains its unique character from its days as an entertainment district for US Navy personnel.

The street has cultivated its own distinctive culinary heritage, featuring authentic American diners, signature Navy burgers, and the renowned Yokosuka Navy curry. Here, modern international ambiance mingles harmoniously with traditional Japanese streetscapes, creating an intriguing fusion of cultures.
