The course includes an overnight stay at the popular Arima Onsen, where you can experience Japanese hot spring culture. After that, you will spend a night in Kobe, Hyogo’s largest city, and then visit Himeji, known for being a filming location for “The Last

Enjoy “Arima Geiko” Traditional Performance

Arima Geiko are traditional female entertainers from the Arima Onsen area in Hyogo Prefecture. They are skilled in various Japanese arts, including classical music, dance, and games, providing entertainment at banquets. Unlike Kyoto’s geisha, Arima Geiko have a unique style influenced by the hot spring culture of the region. They continue to play an essential role in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Arima Onsen. We are pleased to present a special program for you to enjoy the performances of the unique cultural tradition of “Arima Geiko” from Arima Onsen.

Visit Himeji Castle and Engyo-ji Temple

The main tourisim spot and symbol of Hyogo is the world heritage “Himeji Castle”. It is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved feudal castles in our country. It is renowned for its brilliant white exterior and complex, multi-layered defensive design. Also visit Shoshazan Engyoji. It is a historic temple complex founded in 966 and renowned for its serene mountain setting. It features impressive wooden structures, including Maniden Hall, and has been a filming location for several movies, including “The Last Samurai.”
